Check the license. Understand the medicine. Compare the full bill.

An offer catches your eye. Before comparing treatments, get the names of the person giving care and the pharmacy filling the prescription.

Check the person, then the medicine

If an online service says it serves Nevada, ask for the prescriber's full name and license type. A prescriber is the person who writes a prescription.

For Nevada doctor licenses, use the medical board when MD follows the name. Use the osteopathic board when DO follows it. Both MD and DO identify types of doctor.

Match the person to the right board. Then ask for the name of the pharmacy preparing the medicine or sending it to you.

A low headline price needs a full bill

If a monthly offer looks affordable, ask what it leaves out. Put the visit, the medicine, any tests and shipping on the same sheet.

Some weight-care services charge a monthly membership fee for access to care, then charge for the medicine separately.

Check the regular charge once the opening offer ends, and ask for the cancellation terms.
